DYE PROCESS
I am a Navajo Textile Artist utilizing traditional natural dye techniques. I value and take pleasure in connecting with the past and present through plant gathering. I work with naturally soft wool and dyes made from plants, which provide me an infinite array of color and endless possibilities.
NATURAL DYES
Indigo, Cochineal, Wild Carrot, Yellow onion, Rabbit Brush Plant, Lichen, Navajo Tea, Black Walnut, Madder Root, Marigold, and Hollyhock.
